For sure...I don't see it as too close to any one game. Some Borderlands and Fallout comparisons have been made but I don't think those are too spot on. Obviously Homefront was after a share of the CoD and BF market. I think this one may be shooting for the Fallout/Borderlands crowd (though those crowds aren't all the same), but not in as obvious a way as Homefront tried to be CoD or BF3.
I'll have it next week and it sounds like some others will too. We'll let you know. Last game I got really excited for that was under the radar a bit was Brink and we all know how that turned out.

yeah, well really it's either I get it paid off pre order this week or I am not getting it. Every week I have it lined up to pay off a pre order, next week I am paying for Forza 4 so I guess I will just be waiting for next year to roll out to pick it up.

Yea that IGN video definitely looks sick, been thinking about using my $40 Amazon credit and picking this up with it.

For sure, just gotta keep bugging my friend to get on to complete the Gears co-op before this comes out. More excited for Rage than to continue playing Gears. Only got Gears since I told him I'd do the co-op with him.

LoL...you and me too brother. Me and Beaver have been playing it for the past week and when we go for the 4 player co-op achievement my internet or power goes out. I hate NC sometimes, lol...well not the whole state, just where I live.

I'm not even messing with the 4 player one. I'm not a completionist so it's not worth the 50 points to me.

haha...im trying to force myself to complete more games, if it wasn't for the Seriously 3.0 achievement it would be an easy completion, just still time consuming.
Will end up waiting for Rage though it seems

I cant wait to play it. Anything that carmack touches is pure gold. I played so much quake 2 & 3 back in the day. I'm just wondering if it's actually true that the 360 version is on 3 DVD's. The internal build is around 150GB.
