I have encountered a couple of bugs that have made me reload a checkpoint, meta, and sometimes the frame rate is so choppy that it makes me feel pangs of motion sickness because of how characters walk.

It took me a little over 14 hours. I screwed around a lot too and didn't use a guide. You could be looking at around 10-12 hours with a guide.

There are achievements for not letting a friend die in battle until you beat the game and not selling anything until you beat the game. Once I got those I sold everything in my junk to get a trophy, then bought all weapons and armor for another, which then gave me a 3rd for having everything.
Then took Kenny into battle and let him die 10 times for another. Here's a tip for the You bastards! achievement. Kenny has an ability that lets him use rats to attack. If you don't do anything when prompted he gets swarmed and killed and it counts towards that achievement.
I screwed up and missed one of those Chinpokomon on the ship. Which also screws me out of having all friends trophy, because you have to collect all Chinpokomon to unlock a friend.
Also the Gingivitis achievement is missable. On your second trip to the school you will fight some Gingers in the basement. There are maybe 5 or 6 of them and once you fight them, that's it. So make sure they bite you 3 times or else you'll have to start over the game for that one.
