I don't think it's that hard I'm playing on normal right now it recommend hard. I think dark souls was hard from what I played of it but I'm loving Witcher so far

i seriously was sucking it up in the pre-fight though. i havent even finished the prologue yet. really all the only reason im getting my ass kicked is due to the lack of potions. i mean, seriously? i cant just heal myself and continue? i gotta meditate in order to use a potion and in order to meditate i cant be near enemies? 
the game is just SO technical. i cant button mash my way out of this one.
