Dude, I've got almost 18 hours clocked in this game and I think I'm just a little over halfway through the main plot. I don't consider this game short at all unless you're running through the main missions.
I beat it at 20 hours or so. Completed like 65-70%% overall. The third was substantially longer IMO. I'm not much for collectibles or repeating the same mission 10 times.

That's what kills your playtime right there. As far as which game is longer we'll have to see when the DLC is all released, I have SRIII sitting at a little over 50 hours played. We'll have to see how close SRIV comes to that.
Yeah that's true. Plus you accumulate a few hours driving to objectives in SRIII. Travel is much faster in IV. The missions also seemed shorter, at least to me.
