I would like to post here in the hopes that everyone who has earned points throughout this competition will read this.
I wanted to update the status of the XBA themed Xbox 360 console that I will be giving away. I have been a little busier than I had planned and I have run into some technical and hardware issues that I had not forseen. The "easy part" of this project had really turned into a bear!
I have finally gotten everything back on track, but not before finding myself behind schedule.
I hope that everyone can understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. Rest assured though, This Xbox will be ready and it will be awesome. It may just be shipping out to the lucky winner a few weeks later than I had planned. I'm really sorry. My plan was to have it finished and be able to post pictures before the end of the competition so everyone knew what was up for grabs.
I haven't talked with Kat yet to see if she wants to push the drawing back until I'm finished or if she wants to go ahead and carry on with the drawing and have me ship it out when I finish. I'm sure she will let everyone know as soon as she decides!
Until then, I can tell you all what you have a shot at winning!
A custom painted Xbox 360 phat in Xboxamerica color scheme with case LED lighting! The console is HDMI enabled!
I will be throwing in a 20GB hard drive! I know it's not a lot, but it's better than nothing!
Also included will be a power brick and component cables. Sorry, HDMI cable not included.
Alas, I have no extra controllers to add, but you all have controllers. (or somebody has a demolished living room after playing Street Fighter with their Kinect!)
Anyway for the tl,dr crowd:
Xbox took longer than planned will ship a little later than I wanted. It will be sweet, though!
