That's super lame and lazy though. Not everything needs to be rebooted, build off of the previous story and go from there.

I second this. I haven't read anything yet but why in the world are they rebooting instead of doing a sequel?? Fans have been yelling for a sequel since 1 day after the original came out, for the devs to finally work on something but it's a reboot instead of a sequel, I mean my god, that's spitting in the fans' mouths and then slapping them.
With that being said, I still need to go back and finish the first game on my tag, and I will probably buy this stupid reboot.
