I've ran into quite a few 130's out there that I have totally annihilated. Just because they are rolling with a high rank, doesn't mean they are any good. I've also ran into quite a few people who's k/d doesn't do them justice. In some cases such as mine, my k/d ratio isn't where it should be. I play a lot of CTF and that ruins my k/d ratio. I aggresively inch that flag back to my base which results in quite a few deaths.
yip, i used to get really nervous playing guys that were like that or like 4th prestige but now i don't care, i get killed more than i kill but that's just cuz i run into half it guns blazing instead of using tact, my current k/d is like 0.85 in max payne 3 over like 250+ games, im not that good either,imo the k/d status is not that big of a deal, as long as you feel like your killing more than they kill you it's all good.

I'm the exact same way. I suppose I shouldn't doubt the kid but at the same time, he didn't show any sort of reason to believe that he was ranked that high. I mean, sure, people have bad patches and matches but this kid was like he picked up the controller for the first time.
sometimes it can't be helped, i have had matches where i have gone 60+ kills and 15 deaths then a day later run into a guy who smokes me like 30 times in the match, some guys get on a streak & lucky at the same time, kill a few then have the shear luck to run to a respawn point and get a few more, most of these guys know the maps, weapons & game modes, so don't be surprised if that is why they end each match with a great k/d.
