Their homepage looks terrible, honestly it looks like something a middle school student did for his computer science class......and failed.

I didn't know they paid people to post on forums.... How did you get a job like that Mellissa?
Continuing with the constructive critisism though. I sign up for a bunch of different sites and frequent quite a few, if I'm a member or not, top poster or lurker, each site I visit has one outstanding feature that keeps me coming back.
Some of these features are the community (like here), the information on certain games (testyourmight.com for MK), more niche information like 360achievments, guides (gamefaqs), competions etc. etc.
So far all I've seen in your site is a basic forum model which I've seen many, many many times throughout the internet, nothing jumped out at me, even the name felt like a knock off. If you really want to make a site you have to give it something to make it special.
Here is the waffling that people come for and stay for the community, pick a part of the xbox community you really like, like a game or marketplace specials and specialize in that. Once people start coming they'll help you flesh it out.

I feel the same way when I spent some time on the site. I spent a good thirty minutes of my life that I will never get back.
I will tell you that you are on track to running a good site. You have a long road ahead of you. The one big thing to fix is all the grammar errors found throughout the site. It looks as though my 7 year old was in there writing articles.
