I tried to do the update (from tuesday) and it acted like live was down constantly. I went to the website to do the update via USB and the download speed was literally at about the rate of an old 56k modem. So something was up on their part (or I suppose with my ISP). Finally after about 40 tries I finally got it to connect and download on the 360 (which took entirely too long) and then got back online.

Something is up on their end regardless of their site saying that Live service is fine.....lying bastards....

I asked why the hell would you take the console back because it was retarded for you to say "XBOX Live isn't working for me so I'm thinking about taking back a $400 console." It just didn't make any sense to me.

Seems legit to me, I too thought about taking back my brand new sick slim console with a 320 gb harddrive because Microsoft has clearly been having issues the last week and a half...oh wait, no I didn't, I used common sense and waited it out and what do ya know? Xbox.com is working fine again and I haven't had any more issues :rolleyes:

chill people, the new dashboard update is releasing soon and they seem to be having some slight technical problems behind the scenes...however annoying it may be, it's not the end of the world yet and it can't EVER get any worse than the Playstation network... :rofl:

My god dude, calm down. First and foremost, I'll go down whatever road I choose, and you'll do nothing about it, e-thug. Forums are designed to allow people to say what you want, when you want. Xbox live is primarily the reason that I have the console to begin with. In fact if I remember correctly, you were the one who tried talking me out of getting the console in the first place! No one said you had to read ANY posts on this site or even post yourself. You don't have to give me the I've been a member for this long card.

Look at how much longer I've been here than you and consider yourself chin checked. Just because I don't jump in every single topic and spend my day trolling people with 7,000 some posts doesn't make me or anyone below you. Maybe you should think about all of the blow ups you seem to have and maybe think you're the problem? Go to therapy and take out your butthurt feelings on them. I'm sure not even they will have a violin small enough to play for you. I forgot that you own the site, or maybe you don't? If you did, it would have 0 members, I promise you that.

In my opinion the 360 console has been the best gaming console ever, not quite sure I remember ever talking you out of getting the console.
