Football Manager and the Farming Sims can screw right off, but it's a shame Mortal Kombat X is leaving, I feel like it should stay on game pass until they decide to put 11 vanilla up.

If anyone is a fan of the older MK games but didn't like the 3D ones, I suggest you grab MKX and try it while you can. It feels closer in spirit to UMK3 or MK(9) than 11 does, in my opinion, and is a bit more newbie-friendly (except not online, obviously, people that still play X online will chew you up, spit you out, and max out all your credit cards).

Wooooo I just read that Torchlight 3 is coming to Game Pass. I was so close to buying it a couple days ago.

I stiill need to finish my hardcore playthrough of 2.

If you like Diablo-style hack 'n slash/dungeon-crawlers, Torchlight 2 is freaking great, and hopefully 3 will continue the tradition of expanding and refining without going full retard (I'm looking at YOU, Sacred 3).

I highly recommend it -- they did an excellent job of streamlining stuff for consoles. As far as Xbox goes, I would say Torchlight 2 is the best Diablo-like game, recommended over Path of Exile just because Torchlight is way more intuitive.

I haven't played 3 yet but assuming the developers didn't do a complete 180 and shit the bed on purpose, Torchlight 3 should be easy to jump in to and quite fun without demanding huge blocks of time.

Also, it's not game pass, but the game Conan Exiles has a "trial" version available where you basically download the full game and can do whatever for an hour -- you can also pop all 1000G with a few quick console commands. But I'm not sure if the PC version has this same 1 hour trial like Xbox.

Woooo I just found out that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is coming to Game Pass tomorrow! Zodiac Age is the updated version of... the previously updated version of FF12, so now only does it have sharper graphics and better framerate with less load times, it has a re-worked job system for the characters and some of what folks consider "filler" has been trimmed out in favor of some good new dungeons and optional quests. I was so close to buying this twice on my PS4, now I'm really glad I didn't because FREE! ...and ACHIEVEMENTS!

Couple this with the huge Yakuza dump they did (they just added the remastered versions of Yakuza 3-5 to go with the Kiwami remakes of 1 and 2 and the all-new prequel Yakuza Zero) and once again Game Pass is killing it man.

...it almost makes up for how bad most of the Games with Gold have been for a long time (Gears 5 notwithstanding!). Damn, I just remembered I still need to play Control and LOTR: Shadow of War. It's pretty cool to be back to having a backlog of stuff I'm interested in on GP as opposed to waiting for something good to trickle out every other month.

I really liked FF12. I actually got my old PS2 out and replayed the game over a 3 week period two summers ago. This is really tempting!!

I'm 17 hours in now and really enjoying it!

Way back when the Zodiac Age version first came out I played for a couple hours then stopped because it seemed slow and boring...

I'm really glad I replayed it now on xbo because just a few minutes after the point in the game I had stopped before, Balthier and Fran join your party and suddenly you have all these cool options to play with and everything became way more fun!
