Guys!! Gals!! SOUL CALIBUR 6 is on game pass now, and I highly highly recommend it to all of you, whether you like fighting games or not. There is a nice range of difficulty options, most of the combat is intuitive and easy to pick-up-and-play, it's noob-friendly outside of Ranked, and there's multiple story- and single player modes.
It has an overarcing story mode, then smaller stories for each individual character, and then a whole separate story mode for custom character(s) you make that let you change fighting styles and armor/clothing as you go, as well as choosing what mini-quests to undertake, where to (optionally) explore, and what if any shops/merchants to invest in.
Lastly, it has one of the best character creators I've seen outside of a modern wrestling game. Like I said, highly highly recommended! All of the achievements are simple and vast majority are also easy -- if you want the full 1000G you won't need the DLC characters but you will need to go through the custom story mode twice, on top of clearing the other story modes with every included character (which is actually very easy). You can get 700-800 in 6-8 hours, but the completion will probably take 20+ and a little RNG luck.
I'd definitely say so! It's a fun, "lite" action-rpg, and you don't need to have any prior Kingdom Hearts familiarity going in (which is good, these games' lore is exhaustive and forgettable imo).
In fact, I find KH3's story bits to range from cringey to boring and never any better -- I feel like you would have to be both a nostalgia-goggled fanatic over the other KH games and have a huge, weird Disney fetish to really get in to the fiction here.
Luckily, underneath all that is a solid-if-simple action game with the occasional light puzzle, mini-game diversion, or licensed Disney song that you can't stream or capture. You can just jump in to KH3 and skip/mash through the numerous cutscenes.

Fallout 76 is coming to game pass next week and I'm excited to see how terrible it is.
I SUPER highly recommend The Messenger, which just came to Xbox this week on game pass. It's a fun Ninja Gaiden-inspired game that turns into a lite-metroidvania in the second half and while not especially difficult does have some challenging moments and cool mechanics that'll make you feel like a ninja. The 1k isn't THAT hard, especially if you make sure not to miss the couple of missables. But even if you do, that game's not that long , at least not the parts you would have to replay to get all 5, especially on a NG+ file. And if you care you read it, the story is pretty ridiculous, funny, and interesting. Definitely recommend

Heeded your advice and went for Soul Cal 6. Haven't played one since Soul Cal 2. Def a good fighting game and a nice completion. I didn't get glitched out like your poor soul did, either.

So! After 2 hours, I'm still not sure what's "new" about this New Super Lucky's Tale, but it's a fun mascot-platformer with clever level variations just like the other one.
Game Pass is crushing it, man. The additions still aren't 100%, but the overall quality is way up from where it was a year ago.
Lastly -- WTF doesn't Battletoads 2020 have online coop? I understand it's a big jump to go from almost-indie-beatemup to Xbox Live-compatible 3 player online game, but shit guys if you can't do something right, don't fucking do it in this case, ya know?? Cause it's not like the license is big enough some other developer will pony up the resources to make another Btoads anytime soon.

You should have plenty of time to do the story at least, if you want to 100% it in that time, good luck.

Well crap doggit, when did MS actually start enforcing their game title access policies??
I have always been able to play titles that were removed from Game Pass far after the fact as long as I never deleted them, but now I can't. Big sad.
I was in the middle of a second DMC5 playthru, now I guess I'll have to actually buy it.
I screwed around too long and never played the two Return to Arkhams, Kingdom Come Deliv, and didn't finish my Metro Exodus playthru.
I guess this is how MS has been able to ratchet up the quality and speed of game pass releases -- the gouda stuff doesn't stay on near as long.
On the positive side, I cleared up a ton of space on the internal hdd!

MS has been enforcing that game policy ever since I've been subscribed, my internal has all of 3 games on it as I use my external to store my games. Ark and RDR2 probably take up like 70% of my internal storage

Day of the Tentacle was my jam back in ye day. I'm interested to play this remaster, it's sweet that it came to GamePass.
I always heard good stuff about Full Throttle and Grim Fandango but only ever got to putz around a few minutes in each one. I dunno if I have the brain or stomach to actually PLAY an adventure game these days... I'll probably just use a walkthrough if I get around to them.
smh
Oh also, Vermintide 2 has been incredibly fun, way moreso than the first game, to me. I even bought some DLC for it! If anyone reading this wants to slaughter a crapton of Skaven rat-men and Chaos warriors, holler at me! It's sofa king fun with friends.

Looks like a couple games are leaving gamepass at EoM (End of Month). Here's the article from TA on it:
