Yeah I was the same way TK, I stick with games way longer now, plus I rent and play stuff I normally never would and end up enjoying it usually, like X-Men
Same here. At times I rent a game repeatedly just to finish an achievement.

Love them and they make me enjoy my games more. It just makes me feel like I accomplished something. Now whenever I play a game on a different console I think to myself, "Wait, what's the point?"

Ok I was wondering how you guys felt about achievements points and how much they effect how you play?
For me I think they are very cool and I find myself getting allot more play times out of my games. But every once and a while I will find myself playing games just for the achievements and having no fun at all, so sometimes they do get in the way of me having fun.
EDIT: option 1 and 2 are the 1st and 3rd on the list.
Achievements are the most addicting things to come along in a long time. I find myself playing games just for achievements too, but unlocking them does feel somewhat rewarding. It feels wrong playing a game without achievements now.

I couldn't agree with Robert5758 any more if I tried. When I play Playstation 2 games now, they feel as if they are missing something...incomplete somehow, whereas they never were before I bought my 360.
