I like them because they make you go out of your way and challange you to finish it on more then easy just to show of to your friends that you beat it!

yea boi and there pretty easy to get if you want to take the time to get them. but most of them are low scoring. 10's and 5's.

I don't play games just for the achievements, but I do find myself playing games a little longer to gain some of the cooler ones. I wish there were fewer multi-player achievements, as they just create imbalances in matches as some gamers try to win and others just try to boost their gamerscore. Overall though, I think the achievement system has been a great thing for me and gaming in general.

I do find them extremely addicting but Achievement Points not only get me to play a game longer, they entice me to play games that I would not normally play.

That is pretty crazy. I figured since there were numerous different games on one disc they would have 1000 per game. Just thinking about 99 achievements in one game gives me a headache!
