That exact thing happened to me. I don't like things that make me feel stupid and this "find the hacker" crap does that.

The couple hacks I did, I just hid in a car. The dudes ran by me about 20 times so I'm guessing you're undetectable when hiding in a car...so that's stupid.

All my uplay stuff showed up just fine & I actually kinda like the game so far, which is very unusual for me. I've been leaving gifts of $420 in all the hotspots for friends list people.

Yeah I think you're onto something with the car.

I just think that since invasions fuck up missions, they should be voluntary on both sides, especially if they aren't giving an option to turn mp on and off freely. Enough people love mp that they can do that, I'd imagine.

I usually shoot pedestrians and cars until the hacker dies. Seems to work for me.

Got my first invasion today. They got to 7% before I killed them. The grenade launcher is very good for that kind of thing.

Hahah I don't know why I didn't think of that. I think I figured out my problem though- once I stopped letting the hackers report me for hacking them, I haven't gotten any more invasions. I think the bounty allows people to bust in without joining matchmaking. And actually as much as I hate the mini game, it's kind of a cool touch.

I didn't have any Jam Coms and didn't get to the person in time, so I ended up with a bounty. The purple boxes on people when hacking or purple triangles when they use their phones are for the online part. I make sure not to hack anyone with a purple box and try to stop the purple callers as much as I can.

One thing I am hating is Fixer Contracts. I finished all the Gang Hideouts, ctOS hacks/towers, and almost done with all the Criminal Convoys. I can't get anymore of the Criminal Convoys to show up. I just need 1 more of those and 31 more Fixer Contracts to finish the side quest section out.

The drinking game is a bitch and poker games take FOREVER! I can usually knock out 2 of them off the table pretty fast, but that last guy folds at the start of every hand. When he doesn't fold, 90% of the time he wins and gets his money back. Which starts the whole process over again.

Chess is easy if you go to the right place and use a guide. I did it to get it over with since I am horrible at chess. If not I'd be trying it forever, which would anger me and I would never do it.

Still missing 5 songs. I'm half way through chapter 2 (been spending time on side missions) and my investigations stopped showing up. I'm sitting at a little over 2 million dollars and almost maxed out my skill tree. I don't see how it'll take 100 hours to do everything.

+edit+ while in a vehicle, you can use left on the d-pad to change the camera.

It would be nice if you could see who claimed the stuff we leave at the hotspots. It would also be great if I could stay focused on the campaign long enough to finish the first act.

I had the same problem. Did every side mission you could do in the first act. Once the second act opened up, the DLC mission open and I started those. Some day I may tackle the main story.

I just turned off the invasion aspect and have been enjoying the main storyline. It's a great game.

I finally finished the campaign. That last mission was ridiculous. Sitting at 285 gs for this fucker and I really don't feel like collecting any more crap & I sure as shit won't be playing the sequel.

Edit: Make that 385 gs. I posted during the 20 fuckin minute credits (which you can't fucking skip) and forgot about the 100 pointer at the end.

Those credits were awful, the voice acting was absolute garbage as well, especially that main hacker chick, hated her so much I don't even remember her name. :laugh:
