Tales of Vesperia

There's a ton more but that's the top of my head.
Glitches don't necessarily make me hate a game. There are a lot of glitchy games that I love and overlook it. But a game that is so glitchy that I can only assume it grew legs and walked out of quality testing without being played is inexcusable.
My biggest problem with games is hype. If you're going to hype a game (gta iv, bioshock infinite, etc...) then make sure the game lives up to it. Bioshock Infinite did not. Story-wise, and gameplay-wise, ending-wise, I felt it was subpar. Had they released it as a new property, I may have liked it considerably more. But hyping it as BIOSHOCK wrecked it for me.

except it wasn't at all.
I want a list of 5 games you actually liked on 360 and didn't complain about, an impossible task I'm sure.

you have literally complained about half of those games when we were in party chat before about things you didn't like, stupid things they did, bugs, glitches, etc.
and the other half of the list is terrible games like Kane and lynch.

I actually really liked that game. No major gamebreaking glitches (that I am aware of). MP was actually really fun, though it died off too quick competing with the likes of Gears, Halo and CoD
I have plenty of games that I played that I enjoyed, regardless of glitches (AC3 being one of them). I have plenty of games I enjoyed until I had to do some ridiculous grind to get all the achievements (Project Slypheed, Earth Defense Force, etc, etc). What makes a game good/bad is totally subjective.
Recently I played Cursed Crusade and honestly I thought it was actually pretty good! No GotY contender, but a solid game that had some decent humor - they sort of broke the 4th wall at one point, and also referenced more current culture a couple times, somehow keeping it contextual to the game's time.
Voice acting was okay, but it cold have been a lot worse. The Spaniard's accent seemed a little off. Plus I liked how the story followed the main events of the 4th crusade, while adding the supernatural.
...yet I'm sure plenty of people will say the game was garbage...

The demo was a LOT better than the game ended up.

Nope and nope.
Edit:@ Kat Deadly Premonition is AWESOME.
Quote by The Snapple Cap:
I can classify it as whatever I like tbh. Unless I'm writing a review of it where I need to try to be a bit impartial I can say that Cursed Crusade was a great game. Though I would say it was a good game, not great. You can call them niche all you want, but if I enjoy them I don't really care that you think it's a niche. Aren't all games niche games to an extent though? I mean I would never recommend any Gears, Halo, or CoD to anyone who hates shooters. Nor would I recommend any sort of JRPG to someone who doesn't like them.
This is all opinion, there is no guarantee that a game everyone else likes, and gets great reviews will I like. For example Fallout 3 & Oblivion, thought they were good, not great, and that definitely falls under an unpopular opinion.
I thought Project Sylpheed was a GREAT game, and really fun for the first 5 or 6 playthroughs, after that it got boring and I still have like 5 more playthroughs to go to complete it. Plenty of people will hate this game and not even finish the story once. I also thought Dissidea for the PSP was one of the best games I've played. Yet I remember Game Informer giving it a 5.5/10. I'm sure I can come up with at least half a dozen other games I would call great that many people wouldn't. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend Cursed Crusade to someone who doesn't like that style of game, but I wouldn't recommend any hack 'n' slash game to someone who doesn't like it.
But again to prevent this from turning into another Lebron/Jordan thing I'll leave this long a-- post as my last one on this particular subject.
i had to turn off all voices, and force the speed on the text boxes up to actually enjoy anything about the game. i started with Tales of Symphonia on gamecube many years ago, and thought, why not. might as well get Vesperia. now i just pick back up whenever im beyond bored.
really excited for Xillia though!
