homefront in my opinion was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overrated the story was horrible and the multiplayer was laggy and terrible
I played a MP demo of this awhile back on PC. Really all I got out of it was a different take on Call of Duty.
story was waaay to short for a 60 dollar game and the multiplayer i found laggy and it takes 30 hits just to kill someone not to mention the graphics werent all that good..seems like it would have made a good arcade game this game got so much hype it was such a let down tho

Rayman Origins: I think it underrated in terms of its low sales numbers... It's a really solid platform and I feel that it was really unfortunate that Ubisoft released it in November, with Skyrim and all being released during the same month the game just got lost.
I definitely agree here. Rayman Origins has some of the best platforming-style gameplay I have ever had the joy of experiencing.
I don't have any particular love for the franchise or the characters but the gameplay itself and the meticulous art & level design are outstanding.
Anyone who has ever enjoyed "platformer" games like Mario should take the time to track down a copy of Rayman Origins and try it, whether alone or with friends.

games like bioshock 2, dragon age 2, can't be underrated games due to how much they sold and the positive reviews, some people may not like them as much as the originals but they are by no means "underrated" games.

I may have said it before but I'll say it again: The Saboteur and Singularity.

I would have to go with Nier. I thought it was an awesome action rpg that had tons of potential. It looked okay, and had very very little glitches. A very solid game. My only disappointment was that it was not much of a world for the story. If it had a world along the lines of final fantasy, it would have made it big.
Metro 2033 was among the list of underrated games in my opinion. Almost everyone I know, hated it. I for one loved it. I sure as hell would love to go back to it for the dlc if it weren't glitched. The game played awesome. Sure it didn't look too pretty but the story was awesome. Can't wait for the sequel.

Too Human is too difficult for most people - including me - but the game itself is visually beautiful.

Damn...may need to break open Singularity. I have had it for over a year unopened. I do like the Saboteur too, need to finish that one.

I personally loved Spiderman Web of Shadows, the visuals, the story, choice based. I found it to have a lot of depth-could have been better but it was pretty great nonetheless.

I wanna throw something out here as a game that kinda slipped under the radar (not exactly underrated, but I just hadn't heard of it)...
I know The Fable series left a foul taste in many mouths, but I recently gamefly'd Fable: The Journey. It is Kinect only, but you sit down the entire time you play! Basically, you just use hands and arms to cast spells and steer your horsie.
For anyone keeping an interest in the Fable storyline, this is a game is a must-play.
I didn't hate the game while I was playing it, but as the story ended, I realized it was a pretty good ride. The more I thought about it, the more I liked it.

I duno what the reviews ever said for any of these, but all the LEGO games ever made and ever to be made. They get bad rap for being repetitive and such but I thoroughly enjoy 1King every one of them I've played. I'm always on the prowl to see when new ones are coming out.
Also, Marvel UA. I know it came with the xbox for YEARS but I beat that game three times. I don't spend that much time on just any game. Any lover of Marvel Universe should appreciate this game a little more
