Well September of last year my 360 died for the 3rd time and I was fed up. The slim PS3 had just came out so I got rid of everything I had and got that. I told myself that once they put out a somewhat redone console, I would buy that then. I went to gamestop yesterday and traded in all my PS3 stuff and got enough store credit to cover the system, the warranty, and a play and charge kit. I just have to wait for their next shipments which are the 9th, 13th and 16th. Not being able to play mw2 sucks!

Well I got my new 360 today, got it all hooked up and looking shiny! I was getting a bit nervous because I called the gamestop (35 minutes away) to ask if they had any left and she said they did but she couldn't tell me how many were available. I drove the 35 (well almost 50 because of traffic) and when I finally got in the store and in line there were four people ahead of me, three out of the four bought a NEW freaking 360, so I was getting pretty nervous and was going to be a bit "per-terbed" if I made the trip for nothing, but I got to the lady, asked "Do you have anymore new 360's left?" She went to the back and told me that they had just.one.left.

I took pictures, but I have the wrong cord to hook up into my laptop so they will have to wait until tomorrow to be posted. I also took some pictures of how I hooked up my component cable and HDMI cord into the 360 at the same time, I gotta go though....time to game!

I'm a little confused by this, someone complained about not doing this. Whats the point of have the Component cables and the HDMI cord hooked up at the same time?
yeah I know two or three people have complained about it, and two or three times I mentioned why I do it (I can tell how much I'm payed attention to
) I hook up the component cable to the back of my xbox 360 and run the two audio wires into my surround system....Then I run the HDMI cord from the xbox 360 into my television.A bad ass surround system is the point of hooking both of them up, at least it's the only way I been able to find.

Exactly what he said, your only using one or the other not both. But I did kinda feel stupid when I tried it.
