^ You can either put it on a flash drive, or buy the $20 Transfer kit.

I have heard there have been some overheating issues with the new ones. Anyone that has it can you confirm or deny the rumors. Also where can I get the data transfer cable? I'm thinking about getting the new system tomorrow.

you can get the console and transfer cable at a bestbuy, and I don't think the overheating is real, but idk.

I got my new 360 today, and sorry the pictures aren't all professional and what not, but I was very excited to hook it up, and too lazy to unhook it. Oh, and apologies for the glare, but that's just how shiny it is . Double apologies for any cord mess you see, we haven't ever been motivated enough to make them pretty.
The console itself
The controller
The new power supply (no grill) - one with flash and one without, since it was kind of dark.

PROS
- Smaller
- More USB Ports
- Faster Internet IMO because now that the adapter is in the console, it seems faster then just having the wireless network adapter plugged in.
- Kinect Ready Port so It uses less power for Kinect.
- Even more sexy New Controller.
CONS
- With the default standard quality component cables that come with the system, the HDMI Port is blocked off, making my $30 bucks wasted.
- No memory card slot for those of you who use them.
Some clarification:
1. 17% smaller console and power brick
2. the 2 "new" USB ports are what were modified memory unit adapters
3. wireless speed is the same as the external wireless N adapter
4. Kinect will use the same power, but draws from 360's power source
5. new controller has a different finish because of different plastic used
6. HDMI can be used in place of component, system now has optical out
7. memory cards are no longer sold since any USB storage device can be used

Also, like I mentioned before, anyone that has a surround sound system, you can take off the plastic shell around the component plug in to the 360, and plug the other end into your sound system, you would then be able to use the HDMI cord, PLUS have a bad ass surround sound system with your 360 as well
I'm trading in my PS3 for the new XBOX 360, just waiting for my local gamestop to get a new shipment of them.

I love mine. Came out just in time for my other console to take a dump. Conspiracy?
