I just don't believe that their sales would be increasing. But whatever I don't care either way.
Yeah I think they are just pulling stuff out their ass to make things not seem as bad.
I whole heartily agree with you. Just trying to do whatever it takes to sell some consoles to soften their blow when the next financial report comes out.

Doesn't matter, they are going to feel this mistake for years to come.

They've been fucked since the PS3 rolled off the factory lines and had that massive price tag attached to it.

Yeah they really rushed the PS3 to compete with the 360. If they would have waited another year they would have been great. I know we're still years away from seeing new consoles, but I cant wait to see what the competition will be like next gen.

It's always the same between Microsoft and Sony. Sony has great ideas, but Microsoft actually puts out a better product. Like you stated, if Sony had waited another year, who knows what would have happened. Maybe the PS3 wouldn't have been so boring then. I can sit on the Xbox dashboard all day, and be entertained. On the PS3, i get bored unless I'm watching a movie.

I totally agree. Their dashboard is rather dull. I think shopping for PS content on their marketplace is horrible. The one thing that I do like is they don't have a system like Microsoft points. It's just a straight up cost.

My ps3 is currently updating. I had to include yalls convo, because while this update is taking place, it looks to me the dashboard background is "slighty" changed.... lol Nothing like xbox dashboard changes. Possibly more color options and what not? Very surprising this update has not taken long at all compared to previous ones. Or even the updates for games, i had one run 4 hours before.....
Edit:That's a negative on a new dashboard..... ugh

Had nothing really going on tonight, so I downloaded the updates and didn't notice anything new that jumped out at me. Just probably newer security measures came with the update.

They did say some of their new features arent going to get implemented RIGHT away, i think their main focus right now is to make sure that PSN is back up and running

With the PSN being down so long, I'd figure they would have had plenty of time to implement any and all new features.

I'm just glad I could sync my trophies. I got my first Platinum, Dragon Age 2 and I didn't want to loose that. I went from a level 4 to almost a Level 9 after syncing my trophies.
I can't get my Fallout New Vegas items that came with my copy yet (Marketplace still down) and somehow my brand NEW copy of Portal 2 came with an already used key for Steam. I'm really pissed about that. Waiting for a response from Steam.

Well its not like they just turned PSN off from what I read they were rebuilding it with "better" security. Its highly probable they started working on the new features but they wanted to let gamers online first and then add little by little so at least they're not waiting anymore than they need to
Did you buy from Gamestop and was there a gamestop seal indicating it was already open at one point ... if so its possible one of the employees took it or someone took it off the shelf and wrote it down and used it (those are my guesses o.O) if its within 30 days just exchange it for another "new" copy
