ARE YOU READY TO ROCK???? Are you ready to use a slightly outdated game to do it? The time has come, ladies and gentlemen, for the final game in the competition. This will be different than the previous weeks, but hopefully just as fun.
To start with, at least one band member needs to sign up on the event page. I'll post the link later but sign up there. In this thread, post who will be in your band. They have to be members of the site, but there's no post requirement, so get your friends to sign up if you want! Bands can be comprised of 1-4 members, a full band is not necessary, although it will help raise your score.
I will choose 3 songs that everyone has to play- 1 easy, 1 medium and 1 hard. I will announce one song a day from today to Thursday. When your band plays the song, take a screen shot of your final score after the song is over, and post it in this thread using photobucket, imageshack.us, tinypic.com or any other hosting site. You can post as many as you want, and the highest score posted for each song will be used. If another band beats your score, get back out there and score higher!
You have until midnight Saturday (eastern timezone) to post scores- nothing on Sunday will count. Other than that, once a song is announced, it's fair game! The band with the highest average over all 3 songs wins! Every band member will get 3 points and Microsoft points!
Any questions, ask them here! And yes, while there is a possibility of posting shitty scores to throw people off until the last minute, please remember that this is a FUN competition, and it's only 800 points.

So I have until saturday at midnight to post scores for all 3 songs? Do you have to have a band, its extremly hard to get band members that are apart of this site...

Yes, and no you don't have to have anyone else in your band. I was hoping that giving everyone a few days would make it easier for people to team up, though...

I got the game now and am ready for the tournament. I haz no band, but I will be participating either way. Need to get myself to 6 points, so I can have 3 entries in the drawing lol.

Here are some scores I got earlier. I suck at this game really bad... I need to get it under control and do better. But if you are looking for another band member anyone, then this is the kind of average from me that you are dealing with

I know I just posted about it in the band hook-up thread but I figured I should make a formal request in this thread. Does Kat or anyone else have any objection to using RB3 if you didn't have the time to pick up a RB2 disc. It would only raise problems if your band mates don't all have the same disc. And as long as you stick to the main RB2 setlist and avoid any of the following songs, everyone should still be able to play the same songs with either disc. If it's gonna cause too much confusion, I'll understand if you say no.

Isn't the scoring different in rb3? I swear I'm getting a lot less points in rb2 than on 3. I vote for staying on rb2.

I don't care what disc you use personally but you would only be able to recruit others in your band who have 3 as well. Here are some scores, these are literally the first times I have played and thse are the scores I got.

Doesn't look like a significant scoring difference, so of you have a rb3 band, you can enter if you post your scores.
