I couldn't agree more that the acting in parts I-III was atrocious but I think that's because Lucas is just a terrible judge of acting talent. The acting in any of his films has never been anything to write home about and Haden Christenson is quite possibly the worst actor ever!

And I loved the original Luke.. It's what I grew up with, I don't really care what the critics say. It's obviously the best.

I like Ewan McGregor too and everybody loves Mark Hammill's Luke but he's a terrible actor who's done absolutely nothing but shitty B, straight to dvd movies with his career since. The entire cast was green as hell and Harrison Ford is the only actor of the bunch to have a successful acting career after Star Wars.

That SuperShadow site is... kind of shady... also, the interview with George Lucas seemed very out of character for him--he rarely goes into that much detail about specifics, especially not so far from a project's release, and he also rarely speaks more than one or two sentences to answer questions. The other thing is, he has personally approved all the canon EU stories that have been written post-Jedi so if he does actually have 7-9 written or at least conceived and goes on to do them, it's going to nullify 20 years of continuity.

BUT, even if only part of what was said there is true, it sounds fracking awesome. If he's gonna do it, he needs to hurry up and do it while they can still make Mark Hamill look like a BAMF.
