yea this games gonna be sick and intense, as far as the police go they are called The Agency in this game since its like the early version of the FBI...cheesy name tho much like in Crackdown, new Game Informer gave it a 9.75, cant wait to play this and Alan Wake next week

and i'm excited for this game. i'm still debating about the day one purchase however because with these types of games (sandbox), i tend to get sidetracked too much and never end up finishing the actual story lol. the thought of being able to create your own 8 person gang with friends and dueling other gangs sounds so fun xD

this game looks pretty sweet, but i like messing around on gta4 alottttt because their are helicopter and such to add to the fun.

Unless there are some huge surprises later in the year, I can only see FFXIII, RDR or Reach getting GOTY. If GoW3 somehow weren't PS3 exclusive I would say it would get it hands down, the reviews I read were unanimously high.
All the stuff I've read so far says Alan Wake is good but very formulaic and repetitive. It's also going to lose points with whoever the voters are because the game is just "season 1" of whatever they're doing.

I was meh on it before but the Game Informer review makes it sound really interesting and fun, I am definitely going to at least try it. The "dying wild West" setting is infinitely more interesting to me than the seedy underbelly of a modern city.
