I thought EDF was actually pretty dang fun when played with a friend.
Gets pretty hard when you don't pick up good weapons though. Also, the way the Achievements are structured sucks.
FYI to anyone just starting Red Dead, I would recommend you do a bunch of the Macfarlane Ranch missions before the others. This way you'll get the lasso and a fast horse before you have to do any heavy combat.

I still have the pardon letter I received from Seth, but I plan on holding on to it for a while.

I was not having luck with my horses earlier tonight. I thought I was taking a shortcut when I a fairly steep cliff. My horse wouldn't walk down it so I got off and started sliding down and all the sudden my horse goes sliding by only to fall off the last 20 or so feet strait down and died. I landed on top of it and was real close to biting it as well. Later I had a rabbit jump out right in front of me as I was riding down a trail. I pulled my pistol out and locked my aim onto it and pulled the trigger too fast and accidentally shot my horse in the back of the head. -50 Honor pops up.

OMG! LOL That is too fucking funny dude. But what happened to my second horse might be a lil bit more fucked up
I just got done doing a stranger mission. I ended right by one of the train stations.... Couldn't find my horse so i whistled for my him and waited for the icon to pop on the map. So the icon pops up on the map behind me, i turn around and its just casually galloping to me....but as soon as it crosses the tracks lo and fucking behold the train comes flying through the left of my screen like a bullet and just fucking explodes my horse into a meat shower (like it seriously happened SO fuckin fast
