The only game I can say is a day one buy for next gen consoles for me is Watch Dogs from what I've seen, been really excited about that game since it was announced at E3 last year, maybe Destiny depending on how it plays.

Yeah, it's already been stated that it'll be for all current and next gen consoles. Not a slap to Microsoft really because it isn't Bungie on their own, they signed a deal with Activision which is why it's going multi-platform.
I agree- at this point it's good business and catering to more gamers. Plus the increase in sales might be why they're keeping it FTP.
Also, $500????? I'm a cheapass- they can keep their console! They don't get the awesome jrpgs until the midpoint of the console cycle anyway!!
