Sound is basically a wave of pressure.
So in this case, no. It does not make a sound, since Facebook IM technically plays a .wav (or something similar) file, and when your speakers are off, the wave that is sound is not created.

If on Android, it's always worked fine for me.

i hate to ask but in the upcoming event for the bioshock 2 mp boosting, if there are not at leat 10 confirmed players then we are going to have issues filling a public lobby,so is there anyone that has the game that might be able to help us out? so far we are at like 5 people, im thinking like 10-13 should fill the lobby so we don't have to play the public and speed through most of the boosting. this would be greatly apprecated but i understand if you don't want to since it can be frustrating to people that have the achievement, please let me know on the event box or here, thanks.

You only need 6 to fill an ADAM grab lobby. That is the best way to boost anyhow, having 10 people would be too much, unless of course you are going for the achievements that require the other playlists....
But you don't need more than 10 either, the max is 10 for all playlists other than ADAM grab.

yea, i figured there would be like 1 or 2 modes that required less players, i have yet to take a quick survey as to how many mp achievements and what they are that the people boosting need, thanks for the heads up i am just concentraiting on filling the entire lobby so we don't get screwed by some public player.
RT-does anyone know what the 45 min update was for this morning,i tried to google but apparently nothing has been said about it yet? if someone finds out could they post it,thanks.

I do have access to a windows phone, but its my husband's primary line, so I only get to play my games on it when he's not attached to it. Other than that, I'm confined to my iphone and the Smartglass doesn't seem to like responding to messages for some reason.
