I've read things saying it helps and things saying it doesn't help....but I started drinking a lot of cranberry juice afterward. I think like half the people have more stones within 5 years and I have not (I'm at like 6 years now), so if you like cranberry juice, I'd say drink plenty of that if possible.
...and yes, same way with a freaking basket to drag the thing out

After all was said and done, did you have any pain in said parts that are affected? Like one certain area I am worried about. Just wanna have an idea of what I am in for after the anesthesia wears off.

Compared to what pain I had before, I felt awesome. The only real pain was when I had to go to the bathroom (which is why you get that medicine), because the whole area is inflamed and when you pee, it hurts.
Other than that really no discomfort (uhh though I didn't try having relations for a few days either, with as bad as it hurt to pee, I'd imagine that would have been not fun too).

I had a friend who had to take but refused because he had really bad acne which he blamed on the meds. I don't know how he dealt with the pain....

I went 5 days before I went to the hospital when I had mine. I am one of those people who "rides it out" but I couldn't take it anymore. I went there got the medicine then the next day I passed it. Go figure. Oh well I got some good medicine out of it for a while lmao.
