I can verify this too. My moms has got an IPad2 and I was able to put some downloaded shows and flicks on there with no issues, whatsoever.
Huh, when I looked at the specs of the iPad I found that it wouldn't play .Mkv, .rar and x264 video files. Maybe that was the first iPad. Can't believe Apple lets you play that stuff now, lol.
I will admit that getting the Galaxy hooked up to my Macbook was the biggest pain in the ass because most non mac products won't communicate with it. But once I figured it out it was pretty simple.
The only thing I don't really like about the Galaxy is that it doesn't have an expandable memory, that really sucks to me. Only having 13 gigs to work with sucks especially when a season of most shows runs over 4-5 gigs.

uh, a .rar file is a compressed file. i'd be amazed if it
could play that.
but since itunes converts any file automagically into .acc, anything downloaded should work. but lately ive been noticing .mpeg4 instead of the usual .acc so maybe they changed their default format?
but my ipod plays both pirated movies and songs, since they are converted it's no problem.

The Galaxy plays every video file known to man whether it's compressed or not, that's the main reason I got it. I like to use them because you can get about triple the shows in a 5 gig folder that you could with just about any other format. x264 and Mkv are great as well.

ive got a couple in .mkv that work. 127 Hours i think is one of them.....but it's not on my ipod anymore.
personally, i hate apple. i really do. mac's to me are horrid. i am an all over PC person, and xp is my favorite OS. then 7. fuck vista. i dont like itunes. i dont like ipods/iphones. the only reason i even have a 16 GB ipod is for music in the car. using an mp3 player and WMP is 10x easier to use than itunes + ipods. you can choose what songs you do and dont want on the simply by dragging and dropping, while itunes auto sync's (if you have the option on) and cant even put music from the ipod on to the comp. eh, but thats just me. sure both sides have their ups and downs but PC has always been more reliable for me.

new random thought: is sigma trolling the +/- button? lotta -1 have been popping up for no reason today.

So my account is now allowed access "online," however, I can't actually play any games on Live. I also can't spend/renew anything, so I'm currently sitting as a "Free" member, therefore, I can't even join parties or anything. Blech. This shit is making me so mad. Oh well. I think maybe I should try beating one of the 10 games I've purchased in the past 3 months now.

it was in a bag, but then she ripped the bag and it went in between the seats, in the carpet, pretty much everywhere in the passenger seat. Who do we need to annoy to get our community spotlight back. It's not rocket science asking someone a few questions and posting corresponding pictures. It's been mentioned on here before but I was just curious if anyone actually set anything in motion regarding this.

We are working on getting this going, as well as possibly taking on a new staff writer and doing some reorganizing among current staff people.
Annoying Minioger usually works pretty well, though. Plus it's fun!

Playing Dark Souls, got invaded, we did the whole stand-off, circling each other for a bit then the invader used some skill that drains his HP but increases strength. He lunged, missed, and I backstabbed him, killing him.
5 minutes later, I get a message saying, "pussy"
Yep, but I'm a WINNING pussy.
