This is his 3rd year in the NFL, and he has yet to finish an entire season. He started last year, got hurt early, Shaun Hill took over, then HE got hurt, then Stafford came back, got hurt AGAIN, Hill came back and got hurt again, and then Stafford finished the last couple of games.

to say he hasnt reached his potential after two years is a joke and your bringing in his physical toughness? do you not remember the cleveland browns game where he threw 5 touchdowns (one in the last seconds of the game) to win the game when the doctors told him not to go back on the field with a separated shoulder he got on the previous play.in the nfl a player only becomes a bust after five years of not proving anything like smith for the 49ers.if they are going to draft another qb high in the draft like the did with him it wont be for a couple more years,next years draft they will take some OL with the first two rounds cuz they already have a top 5 WR,got a decent running game.
