Eh, so so. My parents’ house in GA for TG and the baby’s first birthday. It’s colder than it should be so I’m sad. Also I’m still sick. But Evol and I got a date night so that’s cool.
No way. Being here reminds me why we moved. My brother and sister-in-law are planning to move up in the spring, and my parents will be listing their house then as well. Weather isn’t everything. π

I got Nier Automata for 35% off I think it was(really fun game; I had it on ps4). I was going to buy my mom a tv but didn't see any particularly great deals so I'm waiting for Cyber Monday.

Why Oregon specifically?
A - It's not California
B - It's still on the west coast but it's not California
C - Fishing and crabbing in salt water without living on the coast
D - Cheaper cost of living then California

Awww Mindy lives in Savannah- it’s a fun place to vacation. My parents are to the west of Atlanta, about 20 minutes from the Alabama border. It’s nothing like Savannah, but the whole state is red, and that’s a lot of the problem. The insurance costs are crazy, hospitals have closed all over, and there aren’t enough doctors for all the people unless you’re IN Atlanta (which sucks with kids). The jobs don’t pay well (Evol is paid double here for an easier job), the cost of living is slightly lower but still comparable to here considering the job situation. All state agencies are completely useless and incompetent. And the people are slow, so shopping, driving, and getting fast food are experiences that cause my head to throb.
My brother lives on the other side of Atlanta, where all the northern transplants are, so he says a lot of that stuff is specific to living in the country, but the economy is still trash. His last job paid $16/hr down there, and they were hiring for the same thing up here for $25. His wife is from there, though, so idk how happy she’ll be up here. She’s one of those people who runs around barefoot almost year round and doesn’t need AC when it’s 90+ out. My bro has spent most of his life in CA and GA, so neither of them has actually driven in snow. It’ll be interesting when they come in Dec to check out neighborhoods. π
