I have a 21 year old and a 13 year old...definitely feel your pain! I rarely get any good snacks or ice cream. And the mashed potatoes are always the first to go followed by the dinner rolls

Ours was smaller this year missing about 12 regulars. Usually have two big birds. On the plus side, more potatoes for me because half the people here don't eat carbs those heathen

So...I'm taking this intro to vb.net course, most of the assignments we're supposed to do are wrong (They obviously take them from other colleges without changing the wording). Get to the final project...and the information contained within the instructions arent even close to correct, so I email the professor, he sends me a video of him doing it...I follow along, I get an error he doesnt and I cant continue so I email him again, it took him 4 days to figure it out and finally emails me back on how to do it again. Short of it is, the solution needs 2 projects (but the instructions dont even mention this) within it with one running as a class library (for the files he wants us to use)...This all started about 3 weeks ago, and this thing is due like next Thursday. If it took the professor so long to troubleshoot it...does he think novice programmers will be able too? Ugh....this is why I hate programming and probably will never take another course for it again.
End rant

You should also take into account that anyone teaching an online class is most likely an overworked and drastically underpaid adjunct professor who is probably juggling multiple courses, possibly for more than one college, answering emails all day. Granted, four days is kinda ridiculous but still. Most colleges pay their adjunct instructors like shit, keeping them part-time so they don't earn any benefits, and virtually zero job stability.

Well, I believe he is full time at the university around here and adjunct at the college I attend, but that still doesn't mean you should just pass of other universities prgramming assignments without first proofreading them to make sure they're accurate (for the current course)...thats the major thing that bugs me, I can deal with the multiple days for responses. I think the 4 days was him troubleshooting it on and off trying to get it to work accordingly. But its all good, I pretty much knocked out all the coding for it when I first got it to work.

I'm sorry but I have to disrespectfully disagree.
Here are a few vague assertions, here's a quote with no source, and lastly personal insult.

For those who do not understand - ending your life intentionally for most is "Why would you do that?" The only explanation I can give is someone who wants to 'get out' the question isn't 'why?' but 'why not?'
