They still haven't announced the Games with Gold for July, weird for it to be this late. There was a "leaked" list floating around in rumors, but it had Cave Story on it as well as the original Xbox game Black so probably fake.
Also, in better news, SNES Classic mini #confirmed! It has almost every game I demanded, including Final Fantasy III, Mega Man X, Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, and Super Castlevania IV. Bonuses include Earthbound and the never-released StarFox 2. What I don't like is that it includes a second controller, does not have a cartridge slot, and will cost $80. Also I was hoping for Breath of Fire and ChronoTrigger. Still though, mega fun time, I am definitely going to grab this because SNES was and is my shit, and I don't want to have to track all these games down myself, and also don't have any CRT tvs anymore.

Nintendo has specifically said they are going to make more of the SNES mini than they did the NES, but it is still going to be a limited time release, from September through the holidays.
I actually feel like the SNES mini won't be as high in demand as the NES was, as there is less nostalgia for it. People that no longer really play games still wanted to buy the mini NES either as a gift or to have a little fun, but a lot of the folks that were in to the SNES back in the day still play games and may even still have a working unit and games for it.
The way Nintendo handles this stuff just baffles me. I can completely understand them not wanting to make a million units before hand so none end up sitting on shelves, but when the original production run sells out immediately, it's obviously a safe bet to make more, even if it's a smaller run.
As I understand it, the company has done this with every piece of hardware, both consoles and handhelds, since the N64. They probably got gun-shy after the Wii U, but it never had the demand that the 3DS and Switch have.

I have to strongly disagree about the nostalgia part. In my experience at least, the SNEA is the most beloved retro counsol there is right now. Every millennial there is owned one or wished thy owned one and I think these are going to sell like crazy. I actually would love to buy one if it weren't $80
