I think Lucas originally planned for that to be the case but it's the huge backlash against the character decided against it after Ep 1. I was almost convinced he was coming back in Ep 7 as a villain or something

So retailers are canceling Nintendo switch preorders. The fact that they have to cut the number of preorders to match their anticipated stock tells me all I need to know about the nintendo switch. Once more, Nintendo has a very clear gauge of how much interest their is in their product and once again they have decided to intentionally fuck people over by creating an insane shortage of products on release date.
I think this action had the potential to bite them in the ass when it came to the NES classic, because the fact that they are seriously disappointing is significantly more apparent as more facts come out. This might be the same for tre switch. Either way, I'm done giving them my money.
