Congratulations on the AA, what are you going for and what's your major?
I am an Art major going for Digital Animation - but I think everyone here knows that
Thanks! My AA was in creative writing, lol. I'm currently going for a BS in communication, writing emphasis.
Kat, you're great at writing BS, you'll do fine
Here's some help with the syllabus terms you may not understand:
"required purchases" - these are the books & materials the professor might consult once and then never again, if ever
"attendance is required; be on time" - this applies only to students, as the professor may frequently be late and/or not show up
"homework" - this is busywork for you and the professor's grading lackeys
"test" - these are how your grade is determined; if most students do ok, the scores will be curved - if most do poorly, the lowest will be dropped
"paper" and "group projects" - these are designed to save the professor the time & effort of creating a good curriculum
"phones must be turned off" - your family having emergencies doesn't matter, but it's cool if the people with laptops and tablets are plucking away on social media during class

I've been pretty much gone from everything except WP. Saturday it becomes official... My entire game collection is being sold on consignment piece by piece. I feel like Dom holding Maria. Xbox America was my first community and it's had a special place in my heart. I've even had the privilege of meeting some of you in person.
I leave you with these words (wisdom optional)
Have a Jill sandwich, use an elegant weapon and I'll see you on the beach.
RAMBO REPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 hours of standing in line to get a parking pass. At least I got to see a few friends. Bad news was a favorite professor had to retire for health reasons. Fuck.

Looking forward to - Intro to 3D, character rigging, story boarding, 3D animation, character design, 3D texture and rigging. Yes, those are classes at the college I am going to.

Actually now that you mention it I totally remember you saying a while back this is the stuff you were trying to get into. Sounds way better than my"research design and methods"

It's my second career. Painting houses is fine for a younger guy but these days everything takes it's toll and it's recovering from such efforts that is taking longer. I love being a dad but the pay sucks (though I hear the long term dividends are fantastic.)
