My middle son just turned 16 and wants to work for me during the summer break. I am not sure I like the idea. In some ways, I want him to have a trade he can go anywhere with. On the other hand, I want him to hate painting so badly he wants to go to college to get away from the construction industry.

I would be open to hiring someone to redesign the site and advertise to bring traffic back, if Jackson is willing to work with him. Throw Jackson some money for the trouble. I'm not sure how much that would cost, but if I get this new reality show, I would be open to the idea.

Yes, but if I am hard on him while he is working and I can be super critical, I don't want to destroy him and I don't want to develop any sort of rift between us. That would be horrible. He already has one parent who treats him like garbage - I want to be the parent he knows he can turn to when life goes side ways.

I got a pass to go to E3 this year. I haven't talked to Liara in awhile (actress who body modeled for her in Mass Effect), so I invited her along (I'm going with a group). Within 5 minutes, she blocked me on facebook. For no apparent reason. Texted our mutual friends and she's blocking them too. It's really weird when someone has visceral hate for you and you have no idea why. Thought I was being nice

That sucks! I've actually had this happen a few times myself with women I've wanted to date...I was never anything but nice and get blocked. I understand it's on a completely different level but its still irritating. Did the text give any clue as to why they overreacted?

That sucks Liara blocked you, you must have chosen a wrong option on the conversation dialog wheel at some point

The good news is that now you can take me to E3 instead.

It hit me pretty hard because in all honestly we kind of grew up together in this industry. I have no idea what her deal is, but I think it's best to brush it aside. It was never really a "i want to date her" thing, more a director / actress relationship. For as much as I'd like to think I have thick skin, certain people can sting-- mostly because of our history. Thanks for listening, I'll get over it.
