Because they have enough Defensive linemen... atleast IMO
Vanden Bosch still has a few good years left. You got Suh, Avril, Vanden Bosch, and Williams on the line. They are all beast. And then on the bench you got Nick Fairley who is a monster himself. And Sam Hill is not too bad either.
The Lions need a good Cornerback or Safety... if you watched their games... you'd know.
But I cant really think of any good corners or safeties (I dont pay all too much attention to NCAAF), so who knows what they might do. All I know is.. that D Line is good for a while.

kinda excited after reading that Manning met secretly with the 49ers earlier this week. Trying not to get my hopes up too high though, as it's a long shot still, but it would be fucking amazing if he signed with them. I would definitely see their 6th Superbowl win, within the next year or 2 if he did.

all valid points and yes they do need a safety or cornerback but the draft isnt that deep this year in the cb or s position,besides Barron,Kirkpatrick from alabama and Claiborne from Lsu there isnt really a cornerback or safety that should go off the board by the time the lions are up,they dont really need any help on offense,LB core is somewhat solid so drafting a talented DE to learn and eventually fill in for bosh seems like the most valid option for them.

This just in, Peyton Manning is now a Denver Bronco. Tim Tebow is now on the clock.
Shad Khan is likely jizzing himself right now over the thought of bringing Tebow to Jax.

If and when manning signs with denver Jeff saturday and stokley will be meeting with denver,also dallas clark could be signed.is it still the denver broncos or the denver mannings?

Tebow has been traded to the Jets and the NFL has dropped the Hammer on the saints about the bounty "program" they had in New Orleans.

Jacksonville should be kicking themselves for not doing whatever it took to get Tebow and apparently it would've only took a 3rd round pick to outbid the Jets. Their season tickets would've skyrocketed and they would've never had to worry about TV blackouts again. They should change the name of that town to Jackassville. 
Not that I really give two shits but I think the Jets and the city of New York are gonna be a terrible fit for him. Not looking forward to the media capital of the world getting their mitts on him. If we thought it was bad last season just fucking wait.
