Didn't see it mentioned, but Manning turning down 20 million and accepting 18 million?
It's still a lot of money, but for someone who has a higher contract offer, and denies for reasons he says to let it go to someone else for the team or whatever sounds like a QB's who more interested in just all the money.

I find it laughable how little attention ESPN and other sports media outlets are giving North Carolina firing Butch Davis last week. They're accused of 9 NCAA infractions including Davis' top assistant accepting upwards of 30 grand from a sports agent. They suspended 14 players last season for dealing with agents and now they're facing charges of academic fraud.

Butch Davis is a POS. ESPN cares as much as anybody about ACC football... None.

I think its because NC was not winning or at least winning enough to contend for championships. If it was Roy Williams on the basketball side it the story would be as big as Tressel or OSU. I don't know how anyone can believe he had no idea what was going on.
People don't seem to care if you cheat, only if you cheat to win. If Northwestern, Purdue, or Minnesota was the next to fall in terms of violations would there be an uproar even in big ten country?

Holy shit! I didn't realized the Tribe v Tiggers game was still going. In the 14th inning now. I was catching up on some shit on my DVR. This is the longest game of the season for both teams.
edit: What a way to end it! Detroit walks the bases loaded in the bottom of the 14th and then a hit by pitch walk off.

I know it's only preseason football but gotta love the Browns beating the defending Super Bowl champs. Take that BigZu! Colt McCoy looked smooth! So glad the Browns finally switched back to the 4-3. We never had good enough linebackers for the 3-4.

I heard on Fox Sports Radio today that it's rumored the Patriots are gonna cut both Ochocinco and Haynsworth this week. I bet Bilichick floated these rumors himself to light a fire under Haynsworth's ginormous ass.
