He can't return it if he opens it. Smart money says no. Return it and never deal with those filthy filthy pansy ass bitches again.
Yeah, I had already opened it without thinking but it appears to work just fine with my 360. I popped it in and it brought up a download update which I downloaded and then went to the main menu. I didn't start a game yet though.
Well if it reads it, you should be fine. I wonder if it's NTSC or if there's a region free version out there.

If it says NTSC on the case, then it's American.

It says PAL in the top right corner and on the disc. Back of the case says made in EU. Geneva, Switzerland to be precise.

Gotta be region free then.

I've never had any issues with a dead zone...only issues I've encountered are when I've used them so much they end up stuck in a certain direction...very bad when playing Assassin's Creed and you go jump in a hay bale and immediately jump back out...

No, I've got the opposite. One of my controllers keeps moving up even when the stick is neutral.

The best place to buy a controller is from Walmart. Spend the extra $3 and get the extended warranty. Anything goes wrong with the controller whether it's your fault or manufacturers, they will swap it out, no questions asked. I bought an extra controller when Xbox One came out, purchased the warranty on the controller, used it, abused it and swapped it out. Been through four controllers and all I've invested is just that $65.

But I wanted the white one!!! I've actually got to pick up a couple new ones, so I'll probably take that advice- it's solid.

Lol, the wife wanted the white controller as well. Had to go to Gamestop to get it for her. That is the downside to Walmart though, they really don't offer a wide variety of controllers. Black or Camo are the only ones I see at my local store. Not much else online either.
I'm probably going to break down and purchase the elite controller. They look sweet and not to mention all the options you can do with them. I'm just having a hard time with that price tag.

Walmart it is then. Thanks for the info - $3 for 4 controllers is a steal.

I have 2 standard wireless controllers and this is what's wrong with them

Yup. Any issues you call the 800 number or visit the website. They email you a label, have UPS pick it up or you can go drop it off. Within 24 hours of shipping it out they email you a gift card. Order online or go pick up at your local store a new controller with another extended warranty plan. Break even for the most part minus fuel and ink from your printer. Better than using your old controller as a paper weight and saves you another 60+ bucks in buying a new one.
On a side note, I broke down and ordered a Xbox Elite Controller w/warranty of course. Arrives Feb. 9th.

Makes sense. Controllers only cost $15 to make and sell for $60. That's a nice money maker for Micro$oft.
