always gotta put religion in dont they lol
i didnt hear anybody scream like a girl because i fell asleep for that, but if you were being tortured, even if you were a pro at it yourself, dont you think it might hurt? haha by the way, Locke was crossed out by "locke", so there no longer is a 4 in there

What you are seeing besides the Island this season is not a flashback. Instead it is a preview of what the lives are like in Heaven as everything is good in their life's compared to their pasts when everything was bad.
IMO of course!
Beg to differ there but what we're seeing is a paradox. One reality where the bomb worked and they never went to the island and the other reality where we see them back in the present on the island. I think we're going to see these realities converge by the end of the show and who the fuck knows what happens then. I hate to poke holes in your Heaven theory but what we saw of Locke last night really contradicts you there.
We first met the person/entity that took the form of Locke when we first met Jacob at the beginning of the season 5 finale when he said "Do you know how badly I want to kill you right now," and something about why does Jacob keep bringing people to the island when all they do is corrupt and kill with the Black Rock off the coast.
Back in the present whomever Locke is talked about being trapped on the island and how everyone that Jacob brought to the island are candidates. I think they're candidates to replace Jacob as guardian of the island. I think we will learn more about why it needs guarding and we'll learn more about Sayid when they show us what happened to Claire.
if it wasnt for jacob, locke would have been dead probably. Jacob revived him when fell out of that building i believe

it makes a TON of sense.
one thing that still bothers me is juliette saying "it worked."
that pretty much contradicts everything about the characters landing in LA, doesn't it?
i'd like to think that the characters landing in LA is showing "what would have happened" if they didn't crash, and that's what i thought at first, but there's the contradiction. it just doesn't make sense. even if they're in limbo it doesn't really make sense. why would we be seeing anything on the island in present time if it did make sense?
does that make sense?

I agree it's an alternate reality- but there's something else besides the plane that has changed their paths. It is possibly the way their lives would be had Jacob never entered their lives- "Locke" told Sawyer that Jacob meeting up with him changed his life, made him do things that he thought were his choices but actually weren't. So if Jacob had never met everyone, their lives may have been a LOT different?
Exactly! That's what I was thinking but I didn't get it out right. The island is at the bottom of the ocean in that reality and it's safe to assume that nobody had been there for a long time as we've seen with Ethan and Ben already so yes I think it's the scenario where Jacob never came to them. I think we'll see how the island ended up there as well.
again, if jacob never came, wouldnt Locke be dead?
damn, some of those titles really have me thinking lol
@lady, well how DID he hurt his back then? i mean, if he didnt get pushed out of the building and get paralyzed, then why should he still be this way? i understand the logic behind all the rest, ike hugo being lucky, and kate being framed (i think thats how it was with her) and and i agree with it. but why should Locke still be paralyzed then?

Maybe this Locke was in a car crash or something. I think we'll find out before it's all said and done.
