I've Been Around

So yea, I've been around the website since like February and figured I'd post here to try and introduce myself. (and get that little trophy in the process)

I'm from Michigan, born and raised. Have been gaming since I was like 4 or 5 for consoles anyway. I play MUDs (Multi User Dimension/Dungeon) as well. I like to think I'm an avid gamer, just not much time. Anything else, just ask...feel free to FR (with a message of course, I don't accept random FRs

)

Welcome! I'm glad to see someone else who knows what a MUD is, though I play on MUSH and MUX myself.

There are also the weekly Gamerscore Competitions, and multiple lists in the threads, like the Game Completion Leaderboard, Just Started, Just Completed, I Broke(Gamerscore), Last Unlocked Achievement, The Last Game You Beat(Not Completed), etc.

Did you ever play GemStone III by chance? I played that MUD since the days of AOL 2.5 all the way up to like 1999 I think it was.

Played a bunch of other ones briefly but none had the depth of commands, huge but intuitive dungeons and awesome community of gs3.

Gemstone III, nope. One of the first muds I played was called Realms of the Forgotten, it was a D&D style mud, with player killing, questing, clans, etc. Another starter mud I played was dbz:fe mud built with the byond engine I think, had a custom fight program...it was pretty good for back in 96-97. I mainly play on DBZ type muds now though.

Hi there and welcome! I'm glad you don't like making random friends. The last random I met from Michigan went Berserk and kept saying he let himself go.
