I never really use t-bags anymore, except when I am really pissed at the guy I killed.
1)Work as a team, this also means not always having the big weapon.
2)Go for the headshot.
3)Learn what to do, so people won't hate you if you do something wrong.
4)If you don't know what to do, just don't do anything at all.
5)Know where your favorite weapon is on the map.

Try both until the counter starts counting. If there's a symbol next to the challenge with a skull that legendary, two swords is heroic and so on.

Instead of going for the engines, fly around underneath the corvette. Every 10-15 seconds a group of 3 pods will shoot out toward the planet. They look like purple gum drops followed by a large purple streak.
If you don't get them soon after they leave the ship, don't bother shooting them. They pick up speed in a real hurry. Just turn back to the corvette and wait for more pods.
