The mission where you fly around and have to activate the different whatevers, the last one with all the elites is damn near impossible, make sure you have a plasma pistol to destroy their shields and a DMR to kill em 1 hit, otherwise if you stick out too long they'll kill you in about 2 seconds.
Corvette......! Pain in my assholes. The first part, getting to the ship and flying = cakewalk. When you have to fight your way to the bridge (with the 4 marines who die in about .942034 seconds). You're on your own against about 50-60 enemies, 30-35 of them being elites or elite general. Again, plasma pistol headshot or needler or needle rifle. Try to only take on one at a time, any more than that and you're a goner.
The other part I had problems with was Nightfall, there's not many places you can take cover when you have to defend the dude rigging the bomb, pretty much just have to rock headshots without getting hit. After playing some MP with you, you seem like you'll be alright.

...find sweet spots so you can take cover in the Corvette. Don't jump down, keep on the bridge. Too many elites and no help from your useless teammates.
Remember to jump back out of the ship (through the forcefield) to recharge your shields.
Like AJ said, focus on ONE at a time, if you get distracted or loose sight of it, they will take cover and their shields will recharge.
Oh, and pray for checkpoints.

Usually you get a checkpoint for every elite you kill. My experience with Corvette was that you had to kill an elite and take cover, once your shields recharge, then you'll get a checkpoint. Just take it slow and you shouldn't have any problems. Don't even bother with grenades unless you know you can stick one, they just dive out of the way, usually out of sight and bring another elite with them when they come back.
