Yea a tiny bit of better graphics isn't the reason i want it on the ps3
I'm just more comfortable playing on the ps3.
and I'm real stubborn like since i own the other final fantasy's on PS I can't switch and play it on 360. Especially when Versus comes out. they have to be next to each other.

hehe, when Versus comes out and (if) they announce a special edition PS3, there will be my excuse to buy my own PS3 lol.

I am getting this game for the PS3, I have to 
lol
I cant focus on the game on the 360 because of achievements 
who cares about trophies 
I disliked the following rpgs on the 360:
Lost Odessy-too slow, couldnt get into it
Blue Dragon- too slow & didnt play very good to me
Tales of Vesperia- a little boring, didnt like the combat

My Brother-in-law is letting me borrow his ps3, so now I can play final fantasy!
Now i just gotta wait a while to get my broken ps3 back and my king of fighter game that's trapped in it.

I thought Kaim's stories tried WAY too hard, and they became comedic to me rather than making me feel sad. It was like the writers started off with a list of things that would make people feel sad and they just wrote their stories around that list.
I found Lost Odyssey very bland and flavorless. I preferred Enchanted Arms, honestly, although it had a lot of faults, it moved quickly enough for me to complete it. Lost Odyssey was just so slow and predictable.
I hear Lost Odyssey lauded by so many people as some kind of artistic masterpiece, and I just don't see it. It's an ok game, but given any other game, even non RPGs, I have no problem stepping away from it.
On topic, I'm sad I won't get to play FFXIII for a while... I AM looking forward to getting away with Evol for a week though! I'm in complete agreement with Meta about the linear beginning... I just read a review that says it's 10 hours of tunnel vision followed by 60 of normal FF-style gameplay, and that sounds just fine! I'm loving the commercials that have been on this weekend, too!

I swear to you that was one of the best games I have ever played. I thought the story was fantastic in every way if a bit predictable at points. I never have come close to crying at video games and I did several times in that game. Even my wife who isn't a huge fan of video games wanted me to wait for her to continue the storyline just so she could watch it and find out what would happen next, I can assure you that has not happened with any other video game I have played.

On topic as well I will be playing FFXIII hardcore starting at midnight tomorrow night.....SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!

You're being removed next. Who can chat through freaking story cutscenes in RPGs? Especially the FF series
We can chat whilst we grind up levels like I'm sure will be necessary for some optional boss

Lol. I can see it now. Everyone is being told to shush every 3-4 minutes due to everyone having started the game at slightly different times
As much as I am sure I will want to talk about the game I will probably set myself as "Busy" when I pick this game up because I have always enjoyed my previous FF games in this manner - by myself - just drooling waiting to find out what will happen next.
