Finished it this morning, had a blast with the game overall, however my 100 pter for foxiest of hounds didn't pop even though I know for a fact no audible alarms were set off, gonna have to wait for a solid guide before going for it again or I may just bundle it with my hard playthrough and clean up achieves. 9.5/10 final verdict from me.
when you where hacking you might have let it run down or disabled a camera which someone saw and triggered an alarm.
I don't see how you can put this at a 7/10 it's easily a 9.25/10 IMO

I think this is one of the best titles I have played in a looonnnggg time, actually i couldnt even think of the last time I played something this good. I would easily give this a 9.25 or 9.5 out of 10.

I said 8- 7 if achievements are included in the score (really- they suck).
And I pretty much wrote out a mini review in my last post explaining how I could give it that score, but I can give you the short version- outdated graphics (and graphical glitches), unremarkable sound, poor voice actors, poor game controls, repetitive gameplay, and the feeling of "been there done that" that I always get when I play a game that just takes bits of other games and isn't really innovative. An 8, by the way, is a freaking decent score- everyone seems to forget that because reviewers hand out 10s like crack lately. What I don't see is people actually giving reasons that it's a 9.5+. I'm at a point in the game right now that I see the 2 quests I have on deck and I just can't find the interest to put the time into the game that doing those quests would require.
But, as Evol said to me today- after this shitty summer of no good games, it's like having sex after being in jail for a long time. You're going to just plow into the first person who drops their pants and give it a 10, no matter how it actually rates.
haha....i love Evol's analogies
Also, I agree with the Timothy Olyphant comment. When I was first playing the game I was thinking Clint Eastwood, and I still do. But I think maybe they were inching more towards Timothy Olyphant then Clint Eastwood..Just some of the things he says and his likeness to the actor.
IDK...I personally am happy with Jenson....but thats the only dude I'm happy with

Id definitely give it a 9/10. You have to compare it to other games in the genre both past and present. Not many FPS or RPG's on the 360 are better, shitty summer or not.

....to be honest, after all the work I have been putting into this game...being stealthy and shit, and then reading this thread about a dude that did get all the achievements, and all the shit that he did....not even sure i want to play this freaking thing anymore

I'd give it an 8 to 8.5. It's pretty fun from what I've played so far,but it just doesn't feel like it all comes together for me.

Alright...I'm done, for some reason I just can't bring myself to play anymore. After all this hard work that I have been putting into it, if I finish it and don't get any of the achievements I have working towards, I will probably break the disk.
So tomorrow I am taking it back to Gamestop and pre order Dead Island. I'll let you guys know what kind of trade in credit I got for it.

So if that's how you describe an 8, what the hell would a 5 look like?

Meh, everyone's got their own feelings on the game, I personally had a blast playing it, just brought back that nostalgia I had playing the original MGS ages ago, I'll be the first to rip on a game I hate, but I also don't get butthurt when people express their opinions and like the game like some people on this site (unless there are 92 threads made on the game). I played through and beat the game in 3 days on and off pretty much nonstop as much as possible, my first playthrough was about 25 hours and netted me 635 achieve points and I had a lot of fun despite being pissed that I didn't get foxiest of hounds...however, Junior loaded it up while talking to me and played it for about 30 minutes and took it back because it tested his patience and he just didn't like the game, to each their own...

Hated this game. End of story lol.
Just couldn't get into it and the cover system was booty. Not to mention the enemies spotting me after I had already left the room stealthy as a shadow in a black neighborhood.
Oh well, can't like all the games that come out.

Adrian was having that same problem...and when you left, they came together like butt cheeks
