So I played for several hours. Got to level 5 and my first impressions of the game are...
It's fucking
amazing! It's as if Halo and Borderlands had a baby and that baby played Defiance and saw how shitty it was so it decided to grow up into a better version <3
Also @ AJ the PS4 version worked flawlessly. I seamlessly did like 5 co-op missions without any lag whatsoever. It didn't even lag in the town hub which surprised me. Let me know how the Xboner handles it. Might need to pick up multiple copies to play on both platforms. (Yes I liked it that much).
Edit: Also check out these codes and get free shit in-game.

For me I'm looking forward to playing it in ~18hrs, because this feels like the 1st great game of the coming storm... with Assassin's Creed, Dragon Age, Sunset Overdrive, Halo, Far Cry 4, The Crew, and even Smash Bros U coming out all starting late Oct into Nov, Destiny seems like the go-to game to start off the rush, and it seems like it'll be alone for the next 7 weeks or so, unless I'm missing anything big coming between now, and late-October

Damn,all excited to jump in destiny and it hits me with the huge install,like 5.5gb+ pregameplay,about 10-20 mins of install time,I would suggest having something to do in the mean time,like posting here

I played for about 2 hours last night, The game is OK so far but from what it feels like it's just going to be Borderlands with a Halo feel just doing "Go over here and defend kill this" or "Defend this spot from enemies while I hack this"
So far I give it a 7.5/10
My opinion may change when I play more later tonight though.

Considering buying this. Would anyone want to party up and do multiplayer stuff for this?

The multiplayer is pretty kick ass. Seems to level you faster too.

I'm only doing MP right now for a bounty. I hated it in the Beta and i still hate it.

What the hell is up with the enemy's that have question marks above their heads? I've ran into a dozen and can't hurt any of them.

they are a much higher level than you are, so avoid them.
