MMo's are an acquired taste to be sure. If you don't like repetitive objective based missions i'd stay away from the genre.

I don't have much experience playing MMO's, but this is not my first go around with one. I have played DC Universe Online and I enjoyed it. I understood what you meant. You need to be a big fan of the genre to enjoy this game. I was just pointing out that the negative things you listed were prototypical of all MMO's. Even DC Universe had boring fetch quests. Grinding tends to be the main attraction and can be quite boring if it's not your thing. I definitely won't argue it's on the generic side though. Everything it does well, another game does better. However all those "Other games" are on PC not Xbox360.

not many mmos are third person shooters though.

As much as I like the game having to redo quests constantly due to lag or glitching is taking it's toll. I just did a story mission where I died 10 times only to have it reset itself the moment I completed it. I escorted Rosa from point A) to point B) and back to A) only for her to act like I was picking her up again rather then dropping her off.

I've had some of the same issues. After putting in quite some time into this game, it's really boring and redundant. What a shame, it could have had some huge potential.
