If you want to knock off some achievements quick, there's a pool / lake near the starting area (under the broken bridge)... you can spam swimming around in a circle for 5min, to get that swimming achievement
Similar for your bike, if you jump that bridge a bunch, it'll get you the jumping one.
You don't actually have to finish the arkfalls, you can be a dick and pop in and then leave the area, you'll still get (something), and will count toward the minor and major arkfall achievements
but those arkfalls are good for all the players- they usually spam chat, wanting to trade... I got my legendary gun off doing that (50g), I never found one the normal way, just pay someone to give you one... but you have to be high enough level to equip it (it's an orange color item)
you can also (reset) your perks at any time, and retool them, and it'll still count for the perk achievements, so you can spam resetting and re-doing the same 5-10 perks, and eventually you'll pop achievements
I got about ~60% through the main game, the group-quests each one gives you an achievement, but you get them when you hit various levels, first one is at 5 or 10... they're somewhat fun and give good xp, if you find a good group
*edit, if you do my (dick) option, you have to actually kill at least something in the arkfall, so you registered on the leader board, then you can leave-- you'll be last place, but it'll still count as you participating
