Frankly part of me says to be the bigger man. However I would report their ass to Microsoft, I know everyone is entitled to their "opinion" but there is a line that just shouldn't be crossed. Sending people messages with that trash is uncalled for. I'd just report them, then move on

I agree with Mini. The guy went above and beyond the usual douchebaggery that can really be ignored. You could copy the message & send it to Microsoft if you choose to but that's up to you. I would at least report the guy, he makes us non-racist white guys look bad. I'm sure if he does get banned he will know why & I'm sure his attitude won't change, but at least it will be a pain in the ass for him to get back online.

I voted let it go, but I need to explain it. Report them, take a screen shot of the message and email it to one of the enforcement people, then block them and let it go.
Chickenshit kids pretending to be hardasses is just a part of live, and letting an obsession with shutting them down consume you won't do anything but hurt you. Just do what you can, then be glad they're on the Internet, and obviously don't have real life friends like that.

Yeah, this is basically what I was trying to say, but less clearly. I can't imagine that MS will ignore what you reported them for, since there will be a clear record of it. I don't blame you for wanting to do more, but I don't think it will help in the long run.
