I agree Snapple, the game honestly isn't that scary. You get to expect when there's going to be enemies, and the scare factor fades pretty quickly.

What about the ones that don't make any noise, then they slowly amble around a corner and tear your face off, that shit was crazy.

Dead Space 2 scared the shit out of me. But thats because I let it. I wanted to enjoy the game, so I never tried to expect things.

It's pointless/unnecessary to do the glitch in this game, I did one playthrough on normal with NO guides and had like 750? Did my second playthrough for clean up on casual and only had to get to chapter 4(the church) and when I got to the save room I saved, respeced my RIG and Stasis to get all those nodes back then sold everything in my inventory and safe and bought nothin but nodes, upgraded the 4 weapons completely, popped the achieve then reloaded. Way faster than grinding that glitch for hours on end and you're actually playing/workin towards anything you missed and gettin the 2500 dismembers and such. Got 900 on this game in one normal play/up to chapter 8 on casual.
As far as people saying well it isn't "scary" enough, doesn't really matter, the game's amazing IMO and if you don't like it, oh well, return it? Snapple probably jumped more than anyone who played it and is just trying to be a hard ass

...did you not read my post? It took me 15 minutes to get 150 nodes, hardly grinding for hours and hours... Turd hat.

Where exactly is the glitch located at? I'm probably going to end up using it during my Zealot playthrough.

I'll agree that the game isn't scary in the sense that it keeps you up at night, but to try and claim that you never jumped at least once or had a moment of "RELOAD MAN FUCKING RELOAD" then you're just plain lying....also playing the game on "squeeze me tight mommy" takes away from the experience because you're hardly ever overwhelmed during enemy encounters and always full on ammo.
I still think my favorite Isaac death is the one where he shoots himself in the face with the javalin gun......imo quite the G way to go.

Hahaha, when he shot himself in the jaw with that javelin I laughed so fucking hard. I also thought it was pretty funny when he got caught in decompression windows.

Yea the death sequences are way more brutal than the first, I played on normal first playthrough and IMO when doing my mop up on casual it was like 25 times easier than it was on normal, it seemed like going from extreme to easy on any other game lol got to Chapter 7 and only got hit like 2 times total. Decompression windows are hilarious when you're trying to pull yourself back in and your arms get torn off, also the part after the church area is great

I only got 11 decompression window kills my first playthrough and don't really recall where the last window was (chapter-wise). I sure as shit hope it's soon because I don't really wanna play through the whole game again... There's only 3-4 achieves I can get.

I got 19 on my first playthrough and the last 11 by the 2nd decompression window on my 2nd play, there's that obvious good one right near the beginning then there's one after you pull an electric thing out and fix that door that keeps shutting and u have to stasis it and all the guys jump out, that's where I got my last couple and popped the achieve. I seriously only remember there being like 4 windows in the whole game so if you don't get everyone in the room with one reload your save and get all the enemies before moving on. I also missed the nanny achieve by one frickin baby on my first playthrough, bastards...

You must've not had a headset with very loud volume while playing at 3am in the pitch black.
i don't have a headset but i blasted it and still wasn't scared.
