I can't believe they decided to launch this new program and website and didn't realize the Mass amount of people that would need to log into it. Good grief what is the problem? Even if I managed to get my 1500 points needed, I don't think I could log back in to redeem my rewards. I wonder if calling the 800 xbox number would have the option to cash in your rewards?

Good news. The reward challenge was extended by three days due to the massive server failures...
From Major Nelson and the Xbox 360 marketing team:
"This statement just in from the Marketing team:
Thank you for the incredible response to Xbox Rewards. The gaming community's interest has temporarily overloaded our servers and caused delays for those trying to register.
To help ensure everyone who wants to participate has the opportunity, the Old Spice Experience Challenge will be extended by three days. Now you have until April 15th 2007 to increase your Gamerscore by 1,500.
As a bonus, we are adding more rewards for this challenge, which means more gamers who successfully complete the challenge will get rewarded.
Our development team is hard at work to fix the problem. We expect the web site will be ready in 48 hours, please be patient and check back periodically."

LOL, it just cracks me up thinking about how many went out and rented the EA '06 games, King Kong and Cars to get the needed points. I really hope people didn't actually go BUY these games just for this challenge.
Gotta love the "fluffer" achievement games out there.

Alright, I may have got in. If someone can let me know:
I want to www.xbox.com/rewards, and clicked on the gray "Sign In" button, and signed in with my Windows Live ID. It asked me to confirm all of my personal information, which I did, and then clicked the submit button and it said thank you. Then there was a button that said "Return to XBOX Rewards" and I clicked that, and the site F'ed up again. Is it a separate registration for the Old Spice Challenge?

The site seems to be working okay now (as in it loads without taking forever), but everytime I try to sign in I get a message that says
"Sorry, we were unable to validate your gamer details.
Please sign-in to your Xbox Rewards account and try again."
Everytime I click the sign-in button underneath that message, it just loops me back to the same message.

Well, not the progress that I wanted for the first weekend of the reward challenge. I only managed to add up 380 points towards the 1500 needed for my level 2 prizes. But, it was interesting to go back to a lot of games I haven't played in a while.
I actually managed to pull of a couple of achievements in Totem Ball of all things, LOL. My arms were ready to fall off and I was beginning to scare my kids screaming at the pathetic attempt that MS made at attempting a camera controlled game, but whatever I added a couple more points.
I am pulling off quite a few achievements in Marvel Ultimate Alliance - Mainly all of the story mode achievements.
I did manage to achieve an incredible score (for me) in Crystal Quest (rank 9773, LOL) and received 3 new achievements.
Also finished the last achievement for UNO, and a couple in Texas Hold 'Em. Man, I suck at that card game.
Anyhoot, I am trying to avoid going and renting King Kong and all of the EA '06 games, and trying to achieve the 1500 with all the games I currently own. Here's hoping I can do it by this weekend. I will probably going to get a lot more in Ultimate Alliance and Oblivion this week.
How is everyone doind in this challenge? Who has redeemed their rewards already?
Edit: I just looked at the Rewards site and all three level 3 items are almost out of stock now - 200 MS Points, T-Shirt and Fusion Frenzy Game. That will suck if all of the level 2 items disappear soon too.
If someone has redeemed their rewards, do the codes for the game and points, etc come instantly via email, or are all of these items mailed to you?

I'm not going to even try to get achievements from my games. I'm just going to rent some of those easy games, if I even go through with the rewards program. I know if I don't rent, there's no way I'd reach 1,500 points by the deadline.

can someone PLEASE tell me how this stupid thing works. I go to my rewards and I won 5 of them because i have got over 1,500 points since i Registered and I picked fuzion frenzy and it says confirm address before we mail reward...so i click that and i click submit and it says registration successful and that was last week or something and I just tried again for fuzion frenzy and it said successful again but I am still confused...do I get the game or what????
