Is anyone going to get this? Or do you have it already? Please give some insight on the 'Add-on'.

I picked one up Saturday (It was sooo hard to find). I was actually gonna post a little review on it, but...I didn't. I'm lazy, okay?!
Anyways, yeah, I have a few friends who use Windows/MSN Messenger, so when they tried to talk to me it was a real pain, which is the main reason I got it. Now I'm pestering everyone on my friends list to set up Messenger on their 360. It's so much better if you're playing something like Gears or RB6 and want to chat with your friend, but need to hear your teammates too. Typing is way fast, and at $30 it's priced fairly cheap (I.E. Wireless Mic for $60!).
I only have one complaint about the thing, and that is that the headset is quieter compared to the normal headset. I just have to speak louder to be heard, and even with the volume all the way up I have a bit of a harder time hearing when compared to the original headset. It's not a huge problem, but a bit of a nuissance. Since the headset just uses a regular 3.5mm headphone jack, you can use any headset for cell phones or anything like that, so I'm hoping that if I pick something like that up it whill alleviate the problem. I actually saw this neat little thing at Staples that plugged into a 3.5mm jack and gave off Bluetooth for a cell phone that had a headphone jack but no Bluetooth, and it was only like 6 bucks, so I'm wondering if that would work. A Decent wireless headset for only 20 bucks?
Anyways, aside from that minor detail, the device is mint. You can't even tell that it is connected; it doesn't add that much weight to your controller and it doesn't get in the way of your fingers.
Get one...then send me a friend request...then set up messenger on 360...he he he!

Picked one up on Saturday. This is a great accessory. I haven't tried to headset from the package yet so I will leave that part unreviewed. I would rate this accessory a "where was it 2 years ago!" This makes for sending text messages between XBox Live Friends a piece of cake. Oh, and you may have feared entering the redemption code for that arcade title, live service ,etc. feat it no longer, this makes it quick and easy, not a chore using the thumbstick. I'm going to say xbox 360 accessory of the year!

Also, it's easy to snap on and has enough play to come off easily without breaking. the lines are matched perfectly around it. Nice looking and good feel. It has the click so you know if you hit the character.
